Beauty x 바닐라코 Banila Co

*sponsored post*

Those who follow the Korean Hallyu wave already know that Jessica (from Girls’ Generation) is the newest model to represent Banila Co exclusively for the spring collection, “Spring Waltz”

Although Banila Co isn’t a brand that is known too well internationally like The Face Shop, Holika Holika, Etude House, Skinfood, etc. but it’s definitely getting more attention these days. The two products that are all the rage are “It’s Radiant Foundation” and “It’s Radiant CC Cream.”

From my last post (posted back in February), I told you I am back in my motherland, SEOUL, KOREA!! Well, it’s pretty much safe to say that nearly all the (Western) cosmetic products that I’ve been using are…no more…they’ve been disposed!! YUP! True Story!!! (With the exception of just a handful of items from brands that have not let me down thus far)

For those who are not familiar with Banila Co. I would say that this product is the “Benefit” cosmetic of Korea! There isn’t much to say about that because either way, I love Benefit and I especially LOVE my Korean cosmetic brands!!! I found that with Banila Co, their latest products (spring collection) are light weight, almost sheer like, but like any makeup, it’s definitely build-able.

It’s Radiant CC Cream is something that can be worn daily, alone or under foundation, as a base. Personally, I wear CC Cream like how I wear my BB Creams…ALONE! Once you apply the CC Cream, you’ll notice that your complexion will immediately start looking more radiant and almost porcelain like, flawless.NOTE* even though it’s on the more sheer side with a dewy finish, still remember that less is more!!! The last thing you want is your face looking couple shades too light compared to your neck.

Now, when applying “It’s Radiant CC Cream,” you can use a sponge “beauty blender” or your fingers. I can’t believe that some people literally RUB it INTO their faces (not even ONTO, but INTO) *what were they thinking?!? were they hoping their skin completely absorbs the cream?! tres strange! When using a beauty blender, you can gently pat the product onto your face, making sure you are evenly covered. When using your fingers, gently apply it onto your face (gliding your index and/or middle finger to spread the product), then you gently pat it down! Of course, if you need more coverage on troubled spots or like to wear this cream as a base, you can obviously opt to dab on “It’s Radiant Foundation,”making sure you have a stronger coverage.

Grading: Pass! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to try out more of their products!

Purchase Friendly?: Not really. Although it’s in the decent range, compared to the higher end products, but obviously for everyday products, it’s a little pricey.
